Car Mechanic 5
  • Mechanic inspecting a raised car in a workshop under lamp light

    Diagnosis first

Every fault named before a spanner turns

We scan, lift and inspect, then write the finding, the parts and the labour on one sheet. You approve it; only then does the work start.

  • A white SUV raised on a lift in the workshop

    One price

One quote, one price, nothing added at the counter

If we find something else on the lift, we call you first with a photograph and a figure. Nothing is added without your yes.

  • A mechanic working on a car engine with a wrench

    Hands on the metal

Eighteen years under the same lamps

Five technicians, one bay each, and the same hands from the first inspection to the final torque check.

  • A freshly painted car body in the spray booth

    Finished properly

Paint matched in daylight and signed off before you collect

Panels are colour-matched, baked and checked under daylight lamps. You collect the car with the paperwork and photographs of the work.

    Priced work

What each job costs, written before it starts

Every price below is a starting figure for a standard car. Anything beyond it is quoted on a sheet you sign, and the figure on the sheet is the figure on the invoice.

      Brake pads, discs and fluid

Pads, discs and fluid replaced to the maker's limits, then road-tested before the car leaves the bay.

    • A mechanic inspecting the underside of a car in the garage

      Full service and oil change

Oil, filters and a 40-point inspection, with the findings written on one sheet and handed back with the keys.

      From $149

    • Tyres stacked with an alloy wheel on top in the garage

    The workshop

Eighteen years of the same simple habit

We started with one bay and one rule: tell the owner what is wrong before touching anything. That rule is still on the wall beside the quote pad.

Every car is lifted, photographed and written up first. You see the finding, the parts and the labour as separate lines, and you decide. Parts and labour carry a 24-month warranty, and the warranty terms are printed on the invoice, not buried in a leaflet.

If the job turns out smaller than quoted, the invoice is smaller. That has happened more often than the other way round, and we keep the records to show it.

A vintage red car being restored in a workshop full of tools and parts

    The technicians

The people whose names are on the work

Five people, each with a bay and a specialism. The technician who writes up your car is the one who repairs it.

    • Marcus Hale

      Workshop foreman

      Licensed technician, 22 years

A bearded mechanic repairing a car engine in the garage

Marcus signs off every job before it leaves the bay and keeps the quote pad honest. He took the first bay in the workshop.

    • Priya Nair

      Diagnostics lead

      Hybrid and electric systems certified

A confident woman mechanic in the garage

Priya reads the fault codes and then proves them with a physical test. If the scanner and the car disagree, she believes the car.

    • Daniel Okafor

      Brakes and suspension

      Licensed technician, 14 years

A mechanic in blue overalls adjusting his gloves beside an engine

Daniel measures before he replaces. Customers get the old discs back with the wear marked on them.

    • Sam Whitaker

      Paint and bodywork

      Master painter, 20 years

Mechanics working on a classic car restoration in a well-lit garage

Sam matches colour under daylight lamps and photographs each panel before and after the refinish.

    • Alex Moreau

      Service advisor

      Writes every quote, 9 years

A service advisor in a business suit wearing a headset at the desk

Alex answers the phone, books the bay and writes the quote in plain figures, so the person who calls is the person who explains.
